1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
1.1 Personal Information You Provide
- Account Information: First name, last name, email address, and encrypted password
- Profile Information: Bio, social media links (Instagram, SoundCloud, Spotify, Facebook), press kit documents (PDF), profile pictures, banner images
- Location Information: Country, state, and city for profile setup and matching purposes (used when the app is in foreground)
- Musical Preferences: Music genres you play or prefer
- Professional Information: DJ experience level, services offered, and availability preferences
- Verification Documents: Government-issued identification documents and selfies (processed through Stripe Identity for account verification)
- Payment Information: Subscription payment data processed through Apple App Store and Google Play Store
- Communication Data: Messages sent through our chat system, including text content and timestamps
1.2 Information We Collect Automatically
- Location Data: Real-time GPS coordinates to show nearby DJs and clubs when the app is in open (requires your explicit permission)
- Device Information: Device type and operating system
- Push Notification Tokens: Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) tokens for sending notifications
1.3 Information from Third Parties
- Payment Processors: Transaction confirmation and subscription status from Apple and Google
- Identity Verification: Verification results from Stripe Identity services
2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

3. LOCATION DATA USAGE
Why We Need Location: We require access to your device's location to show you nearby DJs and clubs, which is fundamental to our matching service.
Types of Location Access:
- Foreground Location: Used when the app is active to update your position and show nearby users
- Location Storage: Your current location coordinates are stored in our database and updated when you use the app to help DJs and clubs find you
Your Control: You can enable or disable location services through your device settings at any time. However, disabling location will significantly limit core app functionality.
4. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION
4.1 With Other Users
- Public Profile Information: Name, bio, profile picture, music genres, location (city/country level), and social media links are visible to other users
- Private Information: Email addresses, exact GPS coordinates, and personal messages are never shared publicly
4.2 With Service Providers
- Supabase: Database hosting and user authentication services
- Stripe: Identity verification services (available for limited subscription tiers)
- Firebase: Push notifications and analytics
- Apple/Google: In-app purchase processing and app store services
4.3 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or governmental request, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.
4.4 Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user information may be transferred as part of the business transaction.
5. DATA SECURITY
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information:
- Authentication: Secure user authentication through Supabase Auth
- Access Controls: Strict access controls limit who can view your data
- Regular Security Audits: We regularly review and update our security practices

However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. DATA RETENTION
- Active Accounts: We retain your information while your account is active
- Inactive Accounts: Account data will be deleted immediately
- Legal Requirements: Some data may be retained longer if required by law (logs)
- Communication Records: Chat messages will be deleted immediately when an account is deleted
7. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS
7.1 Account Management

- Delete: Permanently delete your account and associated data

7.4 Data Deletion
Complete Account Deletion: When you delete your account:
- All personal information is permanently removed from our active databases
- Profile pictures, press kits, and other uploaded files are deleted from storage
- Chat messages and communication history are removed
- Location data and usage analytics are anonymized or deleted
- The deletion process is done immediately and can NOT be recovered
8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Our Service is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we discover that we have collected information from a child under 18, we will delete that information immediately. DOB is used to verify that all DJ and Club accounts created are 18+
9. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have different data protection laws. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information during such transfers.
10. CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS (CCPA)

- Right to Delete: Request deletion of personal information
